Fish On!

Fish N’ Chips Charters offers half-day and full-day charters aboard the
Fish Hawk. We are a six-pack operation,
which means we take up to six passengers per charter. The 2024 charter cost is
currently undetermined. A private boat provides privacy and flexibility for your group.

Departures leave from Kodiak St. Paul Harbor in downtown Kodiak. Standard departure
time is 6:00 a.m., but may change due to wind, tide, weather conditions, or fish runs.

Before Your Trip


The day before your scheduled charter, all clients must call (907) 539-6135
between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for check-in, departure confirmation,
and any charter updates.

Rates

  • Daily Rate: $461 per person + tax & Federal Halibut Stamp**
  • Atlas Private Charter: $2,763 + tax (up to 6 people) & Federal Halibut Stamps**
  • Fish Hawk Private Charter: $2,763 + tax (up to 6 people) & Federal Halibut Stamps**

New Federal Regulations for 2026

Federal Halibut Stamps cost $20 per person and will be added to the
daily rate for halibut fishing. This is a new federal law effective January 1, 2026.

Daily sport fishing licenses and King Salmon stamps (required to fish King Salmon)
can be purchased from the Alaska Fish & Game website:
ADFG.alaska.gov.
These are regulated by the State of Alaska (ADFG).

Payments & Policies

All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance is due 90 days before your scheduled charter.

Fishing Equipment

All tackle and equipment are provided. You do not need to bring your own gear.

If you drop a pole overboard, replacement cost is $600.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund is available if you find someone to take your place.
If Fish N’ Chips Charters cancels due to weather, you may reschedule if possible;
otherwise, a full refund will be issued.
