One piece... read more of advice would be to get in shape or plan on sore forearms from catching fish. The whole experience is great after catching fish it is taken to island seafoods where it is fileted, vacuum packed boxed and frozen ready for your trip home. Down time in Kodiak is also a blast everything from sightseeing to fishing the river system.
